Thank you SylviainCanada, On Family search I found an Immigration passenger and crew list of vessels arriving at Seattle washington14/02/1919-07/04/1919, this time it says age, 35, born in Canada, race English , Butcher last permanent residence Seattle and nearest relative, cousin Richard Millwood, the 1930 shows a Perrett John in Fresno, immigrated 1902 and married to Phyllis. I have the birth certificate of their daughter Margaret Burr Perrett 24/08/1922 , I cannot find any trace of John or Margaret after this

SylviaInCanada Report 22 Feb 2016 22:38

The problem I have with that 1920 Canada census is that it says that he lived in Snohomish.

I live in that part of Canada, and the only "Snohomish" I know is in northwestern Washington State, US, not in Canada

Chris

Chris Report 22 Feb 2016 18:19

Thank you Margaret, I had not got this information. He did have a cousin Richard who emmigrated at about the same time. I'm not sure who Minnie Parker is.

Tisbury reg district covers Hindon.

Don't see a birth for him in 1884, though. Only that one in 1885.

Chris

Chris Report 20 Feb 2016 17:29

Yes the date of birth is correct i have the birth certificate saying Kezia was his mother and he was born in Hindon wiltshire, not sure why he says on various other entries he was born in Dublin Ireland.

ArgyllGran

ArgyllGran Report 20 Feb 2016 17:18

I can't see your John with mother Kezia in earlier censuses, Chris.
Did you get his mother's name from his birth cert?
Where was he born?

Is this him? In 1885, not 1884?

Births Dec 1885 (>99%)
Perrett John Burr Tisbury 5a 218

Is that 1906 immigration record for the right person?
It says he's a butcher, and last lived in Hampshire.
