I have had the e-mail but not tried it yet - it only covers 1 family though |

Hi Joan and Elizabeth, |

I got the email yesterday about the offer. I haven't tried to use the code yet but I may think about it and see if there is a household I'd like to see. |

I too have received the offer. But as I am with FMP.com it is priced in dollars. However, no problem - I will not be bothering. Like others, I think that I know all that I want to know about what my family were doing and where they were in 1939. |

Well I've been out all day so haven't had time to complain to FMP about the failed offer code. Like everyone else, I'm not bothered about it as I know where most of my family were in 1939 - apart from one of my Great Aunts. I guess she can wait till the price comes down in a few years time. Looks like FMP haven't got many people buying the 1939 recorods - which is not surprising is it! |

And today yet another offer. Interestingly states prices in £'s though I am with FMP.com:- |

I've just used the latest offer to see why Mum seemed to on her own and not at home - she was in the ATS barracks. Well she did always say she joined up straight away. |

If you couldn't find someone when the 1939 register became available it may be worth trying again. |

Reading down Kense’s link (and for 28 million read 2.8 million) it seems that there are still many records yet to be made available. |

Hope this helps someone......The 1939 Register has been very expensive until now. |

Angela, thank you for that, I took advantage of the offer but now I am completely puzzled. |

Initial thoughts are that there are 2 men of the same name. If not that then may be he still had a good relationship with wife # 1 and spent time with both his families. |

I think you are right Joonie. The credits were just too expensive. I bought the five household bundle when it was half price but that is all. |
