I can't get any further back if I can't find the marriage. Elizabeth Kendal was born in Carlisle in 1826 so if I could get the birth baptism or her marriage it would help. They were in the workhouse in 1852 when the twins were born.

I have tried Elizabeth Elliot but can't find any more children born to her parents or another marriage.

Her actual age could have been between 15 and 19 due to the rounding process on the 1841 census.
