Davies ( with the 'e') is generally speaking the Welsh version of the name.

There's no birth for Edith D Davies on the GlosBMD site

Buying a copy of the marriage cert would seem to be the best way of getting accurate info to work on

Hello all , im not sure if this is the right place to put this but im trying to find out a bit about my partners maternal side , his Nan was called Edith d Davis, he thinks she had a brother called Ronald and a sister called Doris . she married a Donald merrett , he does not know any other information than this so any help would be big help
