Just put UK (Unknown)

You're incredibly fortunate to have the mother's first name in that era. Usually only the father was considered of any relevance

Does anyone know of a way to override the request for a surname for a mother? In 1592 my ancestor was baptized son of Edward and Rose. No marriage to be found. I was able to add Edward to my tree, but had to put Rose in the surname box to add her. I have lots of relatives and spouses' parents with no marriage found yet. There has to be some better way to add a female with a personal name only.
