You also have to take into account the areas. Are all three in the same area, if not you can probably drop 1 or even 2 if not in the right area.

Also you could try the baptism records.

As said post names on here and people will try to help <3

Hello Maria and welcome to the Community boards.

As has been suggested, if you put the facts you have already found on here, someone may be able to help you and it won't cost you anything..... :-)

Also, take a look at the first few threads on the Find Ancestors board - they are very useful when starting out on research. Good luck.

Note: I will let Maria know that she has replies to her query.

You work backwards - so that you look for the parents of a child, rather than the other way round

Certs from the GRO cost £9.25..................

What time-scale are you talking about with these people?

When searching for a person I have found birth and marriage and census however if there is more than one person with an identical name how do you know if all three are the same person? As you do not actually see a 'birth certificate' with parents names how do you know that the person who you found is the same as the birth marriage etc? I found 3 people with the same name and born in the same town but how do I know which one is the right one? I found a birth record yet there were three marriage records and three people with the same name so how do you know which is the correct thread? :-S
