Member Since: February 2008 Posts: 3 Send Message	I have been told that a great uncle was a member of either the ACP or APC here in the uk. in WWII and that he was awarded a watch. Can any one help with locating this orgainisation.

Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 18,042 Send Message	Off the top of my head it sounds like he might have been in the Home Guard. The records are administered by the Army Personnel Centre, could that be the APC? How old would he have been in WW2?

	I have no idea but from a Google search:- APC = Army Postal Corps Kath. x

Member Since: February 2008 Posts: 3 Send Message	Great Uncle would have been about 30 when 2nd war started I like the Army Postal Corps there is a family link in postal communications and the GPO so that might fit.
