If I could have found something I would of posted it, If that is Louisa's birth registration you would need to purchase it to find out who her mother and perhaps father were

To find living relatives use the search trees function top of screen under search...there is someone who Has Elsie Lister 1909 in their tree click on find out more next to the name and send a message.

There are probably Listers and Barnes in Cheadle, but they may not be related at all

Linda

Linda Report 17 Jan 2013 20:10

is there any information about Louisa's natural parents. Are there any living relatives of the Listers or Barnes? I will be in London in April and it would be nice to find someone.

If I understand Sarah and William Lister adopted Louisa and then took care of my grandfather. Is there any information about Louisa's birth parents? Are there any Lister's still around in Cheadle? Thank you for all your help. My grandfather also said his mother was a roller sakter. This is getting more interesting all the time. I will be in London in April and it would be nice if I could find some living relatives Barnes or Lister.
