How do you put the bit at the bottom of your message/topic ( Researching:)?

Go to your "my account" settings Gerri (top of this page). Once you're in, there is a box under "personal details".

It's immediately below the bit where you added your profile picture.

If you click on 'Account' at the top of the screen, Go to your Personal Details, half way down is the 'Research names and places' box. Just type your message in.

Just a thought.

Some time ago GR banned the use of certain non alpha-numeric characters, including spaces, in board names as they could cause problems.

Unless that has altered, you might find that in order to update your account profile you will also have to modify your board name too, otherwise the changes will be rejected.
