Could not find any army records or birth records for Alexander Gardiner C1880, Husband of Grace Gerdrude Wright - father of Jean Gardiner....believe he was born in Leith, Edinburgh

Would be grateful for any help

That you looks like the first one dob i had was for 1880, Alexander got married mid first world war...thank you George

There are 2 Alexander Gardiners born Scotland on English 1911 census. Both in the military, based in South-East, born around 1890. One born Leith.
Just putting to make sure you are aware of them!
