Nanasue, Logic says that the tree on GR links people to records?

I presume these records are the records that GR can charge members to view,

so it will only link people to the records they hold or have access to

If you follow other links including births and census's on the page it opens up all records held by GR, They are further down the page

even for people born in the 1700's when you have them in Immidiate family view the star is showing

(people born before 1837 still have a birth)

Roy followed your logic.
It only works if a person has a possible birth.
Not if there is only a death or marriage.
The death should be there because many of the 1837 + deaths have no birth just a guess :-D :-D

If you click on the star then the box opens click on record matches "view"

then in that box it will have the list of census matches and then at the bottom it will say Birth record matches

click on that then the next page gives you the option to search Marriages and deaths based on the birth details

Just noticed that the only record matches linked to the purple stars against peoples names in the trees are Censes records only. It is like the BMD passsenger don't exist.

Possible records show up if you do a seperate search.
