I think Fred's wife was Mary Jane rather than just Jane. This looks like the family in 1871:-

If you want baptism details you would probably need Durham County Records Office and not the register office in Hartlepool (they would only have births).

If anyone is going to Durham Record Office would you mind looking to see if my Gr Grandfather Joseph Jones was baptised there. he was born in Woolwich in 1860, Father Fred, Mother Jane (or Mary?)
In the 1861 census the family are in Hartlepool as Fred was in the Coast Brigade of RA.
Josephs details are not registered in the local district where they should be. I'v spend £££££'s on useless certificates etc.
