No Emily Jane Cleave on passenger list. Three entries for EJ Cleave going to Nigeria 1901 - 1903

Too vague, Denise, for anyone to be able to help. Please post some facts on which research can be based

Have you used GR's 'search trees' facility?

Where were they from and when? We need dates, first names and locations.

Hi all

Can anyone help me. Does the name Paynting mean anything to anybody. I think the family moved out to Australia at some time, there is a connection with the family Cleave. If this rings any bells would love to hear.

Thanks

Thank you for your responses to my query. My interest is two distant Aunts that I have one called Emily Jane Cleave and one called Fanny Cleave. When looking into them I came across the name Paynting who had these two names in their family trees. I can trace the Cleaves back before 1888 but I cannot trace them after that . I am interested in finding their descendants.

Thanks for your help.

:-)
