wondering how to get back to the old search, this new one is not very helpful

Mine is ok search all records - census and electoral rolls etc births.....

Wendy Edit ** I'm on new search as it gives me the option to go to old search this is written on the right just under all the headings

Researching:
Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

can't see a go back to the old search link, just says go to new search,
am I looking in the right place.

I would think you are stuck with the new search option. If you click on the Search tab at the top of the page there should be a go back to old search link near the top right hand of the page

has anybody seen a change on searching records on ancestry. Yesterday I could click on search records and all the records held on ancestry would appear allowing me to chose whether i wanted to looked at births, or the census etc.
Today when i I go to search records ancestry brings up a long list of what it thinks may be matches. Not of much use.
Does anyone know how I can get back to the original search option.
Sorry if this does not make sense but any help would be appreciated
