yes i know her mums name
it was on the birth certificate and i am really sorry she was born in 1914 not 1911
i am trying to link her up to a family beyond that

There were no formal adoptions until about 1929 so I doubt whether you will find anything. It is only the adopted child that could access their file anyway

What are you looking for? have you found her mother on the 1911 census?

hello
my grandma was born in 1911 and was adopted shortly after
all i have is the place where she was born -which was a nursing home for unmarried mothers and her birth certificate
was just wondering if there was anyway i could get hold of her adoption certificate
am really stuck with this one
please help
