	Was the son born to Emily before she was married? The 1911 census Patchem found has Thomas (the father) as a single man with no child mentioned. If so, was the son called Thomas Wells or Thomas Phillips? Kath. x

	So is the 1911 census I added wrong? Is Thomas born as Wells or Phillips? Have you looked for the birth on free bmd?

	Have you gone backwards from the present time to find these births? Did the son Thomas have any children? Have you found the son Thomas in the 1911 census? Kath. x
