in any case If the birth you have the ref for is your family, then any info the cert has will be of interest |

i was assuming it was a later birth. Dont ask me why!! . Our granddaughter was born in 1980 |

It depends when it was. I have just got one for 1843 and it gives fathers name regiment and rank but only mothers christian name, no maiden name. |

Can anyone tell me what information might be inluded on a birth certificate registered with the british royal artillery whilst serving in canada? Will it give me much detail ie parents names? I have the GRO ref ready to order if it will be useful to have. |
