Just found a relative Thomas Clarke [b1812c] located at 'The Tower, The Tower of London' in the 1841 census with his wife Mary. Seems like an odd address and I know later on there was a great fire [Oct 1841]. Anybody come across this before or know why you would give the Tower as an address - maybe work related although he later became a silk weaver? |
