Its the overlaid box which doesnt load ..part shows to right and part to left of the screen then nothing down the centre...just sits there frozen... |

You can get the old search by clicking on the "help" button on the new search and right at the bottom of the screen on the right hand side is a link to the old search. |

I find that using IE9 (with or without compatibility view) there is a blankpage obliterating the old search. Using Chrome I can access the old search and the blank page is now a closable window promoting the use of the new search. |

I tried the IGI for submitted baptisms, but although there are several they just say c 1613 Dalton or Dalton in Furness and don't give a parent. |

Probably because the new family search no longer incorporates submitted data. That is because so much of it was unreliable. |
