Going clockwise, Peterhead's neighbouring parishes are Cruden, Longside and St Fergus. By a historical quirk, St Fergus was in a detached bit of Banffshire thru 1891, when the boundary changes moved this detached bit into Aberdeenshire. I don't know if this would have had any effect on your searches. |

The name may not be the registered birth christian name,possibilty 1911 was a used second christian name or a shortened version? |

when i was researching in ARCHIES TOWN in the scottish highlands(we went there) i found that sometimes the children who died were reg in the mothers maiden name,also some woman had their deaths reg in their maiden names,very confusing when tring to sort out you scottish family history. :-) |
