Hello

Anyone having trouble exporting gedcom I've tried a couple of times tonight but it is not exporting full tree It seems to be exporting Febs tree

I am not sure what you mean about Febs tree Mary.

However I had trouble exporting a gedcom from GR last week to import on to new PC software..like you it was not exporting the entire tree. I have not had any trouble before exporting so I just put it down to me being computer illiterate and thinking it was my fault...so perhaps not :-)

Me too. Tried lots of times gets to 5% and stops!!

I exported mine for the very 1st time on tuesday 13.03.2012 and it worked perfectly, but only took a few seconds, so I was worried I'd lost all the data. Even though I've been a GR member for nearly 2 years, I'd been scared to do it before as I'm not too good with computers.

I then copied it onto CD and imported it into Legacy (free package) where everything works beautifully. I was amazed!!!!! So that part of GR worked perfectly for me, if only I could get it to 'Watch This Thread' without kicking me out, I'd be happy.

The whole programme is very slow at the moment I don't know if that may be part of the problem

Researching:
Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

ried it again still no luck LindaB what I meant by Febs Tree is at the start of February I had 474 on my tree I have since added another 30 but when I try to export gedcom it is only exporting the 474 not the other 30
