I wish GR would make it possible in their tree. My brother and I married a brother and sister.

Unlike commercial tree software, the GR tree does not currently support multiple relationships, so yes, you will have to enter the names twice.

Put an xref in the notes so that anyone viewing the tree will see what is going on.

I have several instances of this, starting with my parents who were related through their mothers.

I put in all the names of my grandparents, then took the female lines back through my father only, putting a note on Mum's line to say so. A few names are entered more than once, just to show the continuity, with a ref for finding them elsewhere in the tree.

Help! I have discovered a brother and sister in one family married a brother and sister from another family. On my tree the relations are showing twice and it's not clear what the relationships are. I've tried deleting the repeated entries but have to put them back in to complete the tree. I don't know what to do. Does any of that make sense. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
