Found an ancestor who was a hooper. I'm sure we had a thread of occupations somewhere, but can't find it. Google's no help either. |

One of my ancestors was a cooper (who made the barrels) however, they were probably used for fish more than alcohol. It can depend on the area where they were making barrels. |
