I need help to find family in Ireland and do not know where to start.Can some one at least get me started? Thank you.

There are several threads on here about Irish research but I am afraid I can't find them at the moment.

Depending on the time frame and area you will find these sites useful:

https://www.familysearch.org/

has Irish BMDs and some baptisms and marriages.

The Irish 1901 and 1911 censuses (the only full ones remaining) are free to search - google for the site.

If you are stuck with a particular query, post the details - there are some people on here who are very good on Irish FH.

Also, Google names, places etc.

Margaret.....Start with what you already know for certain...then work backwards.....all research begins that way...Irish research is no different....it is important that you have know their Religion.

Post your query details on this thread and will see if we cant get you started......
