What I do is compare the 3 sites (GR, A & FMP) put in a few names (whose info you do know) & see who comes up with the most accurate!! It'll give you some idea who has most databases. If it's a specific County you're looking for check if you can subscribe direct with them. |

I find that you can find so much on free sites. One I use a lot is http://www.familysearch.org I have found things on here that were not on other sites. |
