I haven't got more experience but I don't suppose that there's any harm in guessing. |

I'm trying to establish facts about Charles Matthew Siggs 1808-1855 and Margaret Ohren c1821-1889. Very hard to find info about the early part of their lives ! I'm thinking there might be some bad transcriptions? |

Have you looked on this site or googles the relevant surnames? |

I'll check that. I've looked at Aveley parish records for the period and Ohren doesn't come up. Likewise I've done a search of St.Dunstan, Stepney and very little comes up. They are the birthplaces of both. |

I input Margaret Ohren into FreeBMD and asked for phonetic search of surnames. These came up. |
