Hi everyone.
As I have Ancestry I have now let my 1911 FMP sub lapse. However, I am having trouble locating the following people in 1911. I should point out it is just idle curiosity, as we have an old fob watch with 'Ford Galloway' inscribed on the face. On a google search I have found the following, which I think is likely to be them:
'Moncrieff Ford....His son, Peter Ford was a jeweller and watchmaker in partnership with cousin, Peter Galloway in Birmingham.' (These men were born in Scotland).
Any info - and opinions on how valid this assumption is! - would be much appreciated - thank you.
