You could get in touch with the library local to Petersfield and give them the date of death. They may be willing to look up back copies of the local newspapers of the time for an obituary or death notice if you live too far away to visit in person. |

Hi there, I have been researching my mums family and have found that her Grandad, John Charles Matthews was a Hotelier/Brewer in 1917, living at The Railway Hotel in Petersfield, he died in 1917. I have been trying to find his obituary and more info about him. |
