I've traced her on the Electoral Rolls, she was in Moreton, Queensland up to 1977, then in 1980 was in Canberra (ER ends at 1980)

BCM SAT 30 Aug 1924 p8 SPOWERS-EALES - The engagement is announced of Nancy Eales, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Eales, Corinda, and James Howard Spowers, of the Federated Malay Stales, Survey Department, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Allan A. Spowers, Corinda. The marriage will take place on September 5th, prior to their departure for the F.M.S.

According to the tree I viewed Nancy died in 1996, James Howard Spowers in 1977.

According to the manifest she was going to stay with a Mrs Warren in London, and was travelling alone. It was stated that she intended to make England her permanent residence. That obviously didn't happen as we have her on the Electoral Rolls in Queensland after that time.
