It may be of interest to you to know that Marie Lloyd, one of the most famous music hall artistes, was born in Hoxton and died in October 1922, 3 days after appearing on stage in Edmonton, North London. |

hi Sussane, this may interest you, there is a painting called Popularity presented to king Edward V11 in 1903 which has 300 music hall stars depicted on it i have an original print which names them all so you can imagine how smallit is,the original is probably in buck house??you could research it on line maybee,if you have any names i could see if they are on my print there are no dates just alive or dead in 1903. |

With so many of my family in London especially the Alexnder women involved wondering if there is a place where one can find the history of Music Hall artists. They appear in Manchester, London & Brighton |
