Hi.....How can i find a marriage that happened in ireland pre:1837.

Researching:
Barber,henshall, Hackett, smith,Walsh.....Salford,Manchester

You will need to be looking at Church Records as the date in question is pre civil reg.
You need to find out the Townland and then the Civil Parish where the couple possibly married and the Rel.of the the couple.
If RC then you may need to find appropriate Ecclesiastical Parish ( not the same as the Civil Parish).
If you post details I will see what can be found to help you.

Hi Eringobragh1916,
i have james reynolds marrying mary ann holloway 1820c....there is a poss that they could have maried in england but both state on 1841 census that they were born in ireland....thanks

Hi,
on 1841 they are living in Deansgate manchester (st john)...Jas Raynolds 1799,born ireland,also mary ann 1806 (his wife0 also born ireland....i have a baptism for their daughter elizabeth reynolds at st Nicholas RC church,copperas hill 1828...so i am assuming they may have been catholic & another daughter born 1830 baptised in same place....but cannot find the parents marriage details....

yes that is them....i will have to go check,but i am sure that later on up the censuses she sates as being born in liverpool

yes it is on 1861 that Rachel states she was born in liverpool (Rachel Bennett 1821) with her two son's....
