I must say that, personally, I like the idea of the attachment option.

I used to copy and paste all the information as I found it into the message box on GR and then before I could send it to someone my computer would freeze etc. and I would lose the lot.

Since then I have been copying and pasting everything into a word document away from GR and then copying and pasting it back into the GR message box only to find that sometimes it did not all fit and I had to have part 1 and part 2 to the message.

To be able to just attach my word document without worrying if it will fit or not is brilliant!!

Touch wood, I have not really had any other problems lately - probably just jinxed myself!!

Hooray,

I received a pm from Sylvia. GR must have fixed the problem with the message centre.

Don't think so!

I gave in, and signed on to GR through Mozilla Firefox!

I was using Internet Explorer .......... and sticking to IE6, which is a very old outdated browser, but has been working fine for me with GR. But i still couldn't send pms when on IE6

I tried using Firefox for GR last year, and it would throw me off every 5 minutes or so, so I gave up on it.

It's been fine today, and I've been able to send pms!

Sylvia,

Your statement "Don't think so!"

Are you saying you don't think that GR have fixed the message centre problems?

They haven't fixed the problems I've been having with the Message Centre when I use IE6 ............... which I know is old, but does usually work pretty well for me.

I can't say that all other problems have been fixed. I think Joy was still having problems.

I was hoping there was finally a light at the end of the tunnel with all these issues with GR.

Oh well let's hope all the issues are resolved real soon.

Glad to hear you are getting somewhere.

Current versions are IE9 for Vista & Windows 7, IE8 for Windows XP so I'm afraid that IE6 is rather dated. Web developers hated it too and most were glad to see the back of it.

I use Firefox for 99% of the time, Ver 8 being the latest full release, and find it perfectly stable.
