I went yesterday to the records office to look up a street address on the electorial roll.I looked up 1938 and 39 and the 45/46/47 years.I wanted to find out who lived there in 1941 but because of the war years 1940 to 1944 were not done.Still thought i would find who i was looking for.But no it looked like the house had been sold in 1940 as i found a phone number for the people that were there in 1939.In 1945 a new family were living there. Is ther any other record i could access for 1940 to see if anyone else bought the house before 1945?Would Land Registry tell me anything? |

Just because someone lived there, it didn't necessarily mean they owned the property. |
