If you know what street the Oaks Tavern was on, you can check electoral register. If you are unable to visit yourself, I am happy to check for you as I am visiting the library week after next. |

I have a bit more information, they were definately there in 1946. Also Willfred himself run the Oaks Tavern in Birmingham after World War 2 but for how long I don't know. |

This I am not sure. It is believed Wilfred was born about 1922 but I don't know at what stage in his life his parents had the pub |

Does anyone know of a family named Jones who ran the Wynnes Arms Pubic house, Manod Rd. Ffestiniog. They are believed to have had a son Wilfred. |
