Joey,

My jaw dropped when I saw your remarks about Erin! She has helped many people on here, often going the extra mile. You can see for yourself the number of posts she has made and the majority of those have been helping others. In fact, I don't think she has ever posted asking for help. she obviously made a genuine mistake in reading your opening post.

In future, if you wish to criticise people helping you, can I suggest that you do by a PM rather than on an open board.

It wasnt just the remark made on this post? I wasnt criticising the help. I have already discussed it was how things come aross on here, and am quite happy to leave it at that.
As far as PM-ing I could say the same to you?-your post has nothing to do with the subject of my thread?!
I dont doubt Eringo has helped many people - she has helped me before which i have said and thanked her for.

Whether it was meant or not im allowed to make known how i feel another user is coming across personally to me.

And now that is cleared up, Eringo - my apologies for mis-interpreting your comments.

Joey do you mean the Electoral registers???

As they can only be searched if you have an address for the person you are looking for.

Do you know the address where your g grandad's mother lived and died at..if not then you will ned to buy her death certificate,,

Also I would advice you to get your G grandad's death certificate at the same time..

Good Luck
Sue
Then you could ask if someone who lives in that district if they would mind going to the main library to search for you..

Thank you Sue, I got the death certificate today and found the address :-) I then cross referenced that with electoral registers and found some very useful info. Although they never knew each other my nanna and her dad (James Matthew) lived within 10 minutes or so of each other.

Thank you! good luck in your searching too!
