Please could anyone tell me when a person gets married and was adopted at birth,what name would be put on the marriage cert?would it be the birth name or the new name given to them after the adoption? |

A person adopted at birth would not normally be aware of their birth name. Also bear in mind legal adoption did not come into being until 1927. |
