all records for Sudbury are kept at Bury St Edmunds record office. The records you require should be there. It's a pity it wasn't a few weeks ago as OH and I spent three days there looking up his relatives and I would have looked up things for you |

i have always been told by my husband that he thought. His mother had a son before him which died. But he was told this week by a older sister it was a girl. I found a birth in 1954 in the sudbury district and a death which seems to fit , the name is a Lynda a barker born and died in last qtr of 1954 mother maiden name foster, She survived three days from what his sister says would there have to be a funeral in 1954 for a baby surviving this long, And would anyone know where records are kept for sudbury near ipswich. my husband was born in st leonards hospital in sudbury lived in hadleigh so i would think she born there any info welcome thanks |
