I have cancelled and renewed my subscription a few times as no point paying if I am not researching at the time. As already mentioned, you will still be a free member. Any records should still be saved in your account, you just may not be able to view them unless you renew. |

Before you pay, phone them and plead poverty. With a bit of luck they will offer you a discount. You could mention that if you join through the National Trust web page, you would get a 25% discount. |

You should find all is well. My 2nd cousin allowed her membership to lapse for a few months then just resumed again, no problems. You see this when you get Ancestry matches but can't send a message to the tree owner. (As happened with me!). |

I.m not sure thats answerable unless someone has been in the same situation. They are very helpful .and of course want to keep customers, so why dont you give them a ring and ask them . |
