Just logged back on aftr having evening meal and preparing tomorrow's. What can I say - you wonderful wonderful people. I can't thank you enough. At long last my brick wall is crashing down. You have no idea how much I appreciate your hard work and help. Thank you all again. |

Having looked at the image out of curiosity I would say that it is H F the son age 6mths and not H T. |

Margaret, If you feel the Agnes H Clayton birth is one of yours then the cert may throw some light on problem. |

Prokie Pie - thank you for that. I had already actually thought to search for other children of a Clayton/Elcock and have indeed found them but until I can find S W Clayton I cannot firmly establish whether this couple were married or not. I have my doubts. Thanks to everyone who has tried to help. Off to make the evening meal now. Will be back on later in case anyone else replies. |

Rutland Belle - I suspect you are right. I suspect the Harry Frederick could be the child of A G but not the other one. A G was not in London at that time so am thinking the fellow was married previoiusly. Thank you for replying. |
