Fiona, births certs always have mother's maiden name, leaving out the occasionl error! |

I am new to this have managed to find only one W H Smith born(1905) the date of my grandfather on 1911 census all other brothers I am aware of were born after 1911 have the same maiden name on the record how do I find out his mothers maiden name as not on birth certificate record is it on original if i apply for copy, so I can be sure they are related. Also any tips on how to find living relatives. |
