They are now the HQ of the Northumbria Police.......formerly a College of Education...........one of the links is Newcastle Workhouse, which includes a detailed account of the Cottage Homea with photographs..... |

Hello does anybody have information about ponteland cottage homes for children. my grandmother lived there from 1938 to 1951. I am trying to get records or any other information. or possibly gain contact wit others that were there at the same time.My grandma, Elizabeth Paris lived in number 11. |
