Ive found her- thankyou so much for the advice on electoral rolls. I went to the library and found out her mums surname from the records, went on to find her marriage and her current address. |

You can look up the electoral roll by address. The main library serving that address probably has a copy of the electoral roll for that era. |

It's not possible to search by address - you have to have a surname. |

Have you tried Friends Reunited? Possible to search for people registered under streets, schools, workplaces as well as names. If not able to find her, you might l;ocate a neighbour who can help (I speak from experience!). |
