There's really a paucity of identification of the record - just

Family Number: 167
Page Number: 8

Now New York Co, which consisted of the Bronx & Manhattan in 1910, extends over 53 NARA reels (i.e., 53 FHL films) and 1748 Enumeration Districts (and, I guess, 45000 census sheets), so although the info the give is helpful, it's hardly enough to locate the image, say at:

I certainly didnt see your post first time around ... but then I have only recently began viewing posts on this board..

I have been doing it the "Long Way"...Using the FS site then X Ref against New Site....some entries are still coming up which dont have corrresponding "extraction" details..but then I only use it as a "Tool" for locating possibility/probability of Primary Source info.

I had some correspondence with Familysearch some time ago about this and it was discussed on the following thread:

Also, if the entry has a batch number it will be extracted. In the "old" familysearch, you could click on Source to bring up the details, but in the new one you can't, so will have to follow Chris's directions.

I have noticed other posts that say that all the entries on the new familysearch are extracted.

One way of making sure....

Note the 'source film number'.
Go to the home page and click on 'Catalog'.
Select 'Film Numbers' from the search drop down box.
Enter film number and click search.

That will give you details of the source for the entry.

looks like we are on our own with this one..... sorry I don't know the answer either. ;-)

You have a point..!! I have never thought about it until now....

Hi all,
can anyone please tell me if there is any way to determine if an entry on the "new Advanced" family search. org is submitted or extracted from the actual record. On the old system is clearly stated which was which now I am not so sure.
