Are you sure your relative was in the workhouse? Is this your John Camp with his wife in 1841 listed as born in Foreign Parts? |

I think on the original page the birthplace looks like Danzic (should have been spelt Danzig) which is in Poland and is now known as Gdansk. |

one of my ancestor was born in dantric where is it . he was john camp born 1779 british subject on 1851 census - on the 1841 census he was in a workhouse. where can i find more information about the workhouse |
