My 3xgtgrandfather John Hobs(Hobbs) married Elizabeth Workman in Great Cheverell Wilts 19/4/1770. He was from Alderton,Wilts, born 1748 the son of Robert and Mary. |

If Elizabeth was born in 1738, then she was 32 at marriage, and 51 at birth of last child. |

I was just checking BVRI again after realizing that 11 children between 1772-1789 seemed excessive. I only see 6 children now born in Great Cheverell between 1770- 1782. I don't know where I got the list of 11 children? So sorry. She would have been 32 at birth of first child and 44 at birth of last. |
