On 1841 census I have Judith Keel, aged 50 a widow living Brashfield Hamlet. Living with her are George 24, Sarah 14, William 11 and David 8. Judith died 1858 regd. Romsey, Hants BUT I just cannot locate her on 1851 census. I have tried the obvious name, tried Kale and even tried just Judith and her year of birth, but I just cannot find her. Neither can I find the other residents. I am assuming the surname has been mistranscribed but cannot think what alternative has been transcribed. She could of course have been missed off altogether. |

On Ancestry she's transcribed as Edith Kill. Original is Judith Kill. |
