What year was William born???

Gwyn in Kent

Gwyn in Kent Report 13 Jul 2011 19:17

Do you know what became of Emma?

If you know where she is buried, perhaps it is with William, so finding her might lead to his burial, which in turn might help with a death date.

Does the birth certificate of the last child definitely say who the father is. If he were deceased it would say so. Alternatively if the father isn't mention, as happened with one of my relatives, I found (eventually) the 'father' had died 5 years before the last child was born. -jl

My brickwall is a death certificate, The last real evidence of him is the
1881 census where he never told the truth of how old he was.
He was born before registration started but I do have a record of his birth.
He appears on the 1841 census I have his marriage certificate where once again his age was not a true one.

His wife was a widow in the 1891 census but their last child was born in
1889 I have the certificate but that does not prove the father was alive then.
I have looked for nine years for this death certificate but no luck.
thankyou Margaret
