Birth registration 1953

Hi i wonder if someone could give me some advice on birth entries. I have just looked up my aunt's birth in 1953 and have found two birth entries on the same page with different numbers. Do you think this could be because her parents didn't marry untill 1957, and they re-registered the birth. My daughter has 3 birth entries one under my maiden name one under her given name and then one 2 years later after i married her father. |
