Maybe an earlier or later census will give clues. |

Thanks to all your answers. I have relations whom i am pretty sure they were living in caravans but it only says the area & where they were living. Occasionaly i have seen cottage or house written so how can i be sure they were in caravans? |

No straight forward answer I'm afraid. Sometimes itinerant families were recorded and other times apparently not. |

If a family was living in a caravan ie travellers or gypsies ect, would it be written on the census that they were? |
