does anyone have any information about the Mount Herman Girls Orphanage in Sevenoaks? My mum was sent there after her mum died in 1944. shortly afterwards all the children were evacuated but returned briefly after the war. the home then closed as the matron either died or retired and my mum was sent to a different home in Woodford. |
